Look at Sidi Shoes and Crank Brothers Egg Beaters. Get the Sidi Mountian shoes like the Dominator, which IIRC, comes in wider sizes available and the Egg Beaters have 7º of float, or look at Speedplay Frogs with a lot more than that even. The Frogs though can have compatibility issues with shoes and the cleat can be damaged easily.

Real bad pain in left foot behind my toes. My cleats where not set up right and my shoes probably dont fit the best. I need wides. But at the same time I had a pair of hiking boots that never broke in so it may have been part of it.
I go the SPecilized inserts but I think I will have to break down and buy either new pedals or differnt shoes. I really dont want to spend another 150 on experiments.
