But to the OP, as others have said, I would think the important thing for anyone doing a lot of time in the saddle is good bike fit, and sounds like you have that covered.
Take it slow, pay attention to what your body is telling you, let it recover from minor injuries, and
either of you will be able to kick almost
anyone's *** from all that good exercise you're gtting
