I paid $1,300 for the same bike (1972 24" chrome Paramount) in perfect (and I do mean perfect) condition three years ago, and I believe that was a fair price. Mine's a P15-9. I've made a few changes (700C rims, new Campy Record RD), but can easily change it back to original in an hour.

Nice bike. How many 2008 road bikes are designed for the "fattish" tires shown in the photo (32mm??) plus full fenders? The Paramounts had a wonderful design, whether for riding fast, or for a week-end tour in rainy season.
