How does one get mentioned on CyclingNews.com?

So I was perusing cyclingnews.com today, and I saw an announcement for a new, or rather re-named plus a few members added, team.

Now, I know these guys. I raced against damn near all of them in the 3s. Nice dudes, race hard and clean. Some Cat2s, mostly Cat3s. Maybe half and half now. A couple of wins in the 3s last year, none in the 2s and up.

They have a big name sponsor for bikes. Supporting a local charity. Both of which would help. But I'm still wondering. Just how DID they got their name and roster posted on the main page of Cyclingnews.com, arguably one of the foremost online cycling publications in the world?

I guess I'm a bit jealous, but also because there's another local team (masters only) that I'd like to see get pumped up in the press a bit, all good guys, yet I never hear or see a word about them.
