This shop was on the Right hand side of Santa Monica Blvd (if heading towards the ocean) so the address would have been something like 114 -120 SM Blvd. He did have the high end european stuff and ran what I would call a "real cyclists" shop.... he used to help me fix my "ten speed" when I was a teenager and I used to gawk at all those absolutely lovely machines. I lived right around the block on ocean ave. The Belle-vue restaurant was on the corner of his block at SM and Ocean ave. I think he closed up shop in the mid 70's. Sombody must remember, He was kind of an Ornery fellow but his shop must have been THE PLACE back in the day for european iron
