I am registered, and will attempt the 100 mile ride. My first real attempt at a century will be in June at the Tour de Cure on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. I will definitely not be going for speed, but consistency. My steed will be a 1986 Schwinn Voyageur with Shimano 105 ten speed upgrade... definitely built for comfort, not speed (like me).

I also plan to do a good "warmup" ride for a casual metric at the Lancaster Covered Bridge Metric. It is a week or two before, and there has been a Bikeforums group at that ride for the past few years It would be a good ride to meet others going to Philly's Livestrong ride in a more casual environment and all ride at a similar pace, then we wouldn't feel so bad as us slow guys watch you speedsters head off into the distance.
