Most of my pants are baggy. My problem is that I got huge (fatty) thighs, and cycling dosen't seem to be making them any smaller... And the way pants are made for the masses; it's hard to find thigh fitting pants. I end up with just plain old big pants. Some pairs I can't do squats with, that is how I test pants out at stores, if I can squat they are good.
On my commuting bike I have a chain cover thing, so I have nothing to worry about.
On my stereo typical conversion, pants are in the socks.
If it's warm enough to roll up, just wear shorts.
