I'm guessing they're not tubeless? I've never run tubeless, but you can apparently run some fairly low pressures in them. You don't necessarily have to run 65 because your shop says so. I put about 40 in mine and I still have good traction and a decent enough rolling speed. It just takes a little effort to dial the pressure in that you like. Since you said 65 was a little unforgiving, dial it down a bit and see how it feels.

How does it keep your wheels true? Running 65 or 15?
