I'm just trying to say that coming in contact with others and arguing and discussing is a political process whether you like it or not...feelings are shared, ideologies are deployed. Life is political. I'm more advocating the healthy back and forth that makes us human.
And yes, CM is very progressive in nature…and progressiveness has a tendency to be un-republican.

and yet you still haven't stated why a drawn out political discussion belongs in the fg/ss forum, especially given the fact that there's a forum where CM's belong, and a forum for political discussion. When we want to avoid political threads, we don't go to the political forum.
