word, the clamp dia on bmx bars is like 22.5 or something like that, but definitely not close enough to 25.4 to make it work. i think there are some riser bars with this diameter, but they are harder to come by. i tried to do this for my ubran mtb with an animal stem... i figured if it didn't work i could file it out a bit, but as it turns out the stem but the bolt holes were closer to the clamp than i anticipated.

however, deity stems are 25.4 and come in powdercoated black, grey, and white.
