OMG, you are right. A dollar bill is cheaper than a $3.00 Parks boot. Common sense seems to get less common every day, even when you try hard.

Then, if you are the kind of economist our school-only, no-work-experience "masters degree in business" employee is, then you transfer the imaginary $2.00 you saved by not using the Parks boot into the debit column and say that you made a profit and give yourself a bonus. Wheee!
