I like the new SRAM stuff a lot. But, I already have too many bikes with Campy on them and a $hit load of wheelsets to switch. Had I still been on ShimaNO when SRAM came out with their road group... I'd be on it in a second. I do however run SRAM on my MTBs.
I tried GVH. they are not selling them individually, only as a complete group. When they do, their price will be around $380. Mine was $410 + $17 shipping. Figure gvh's shipping will be about the same. So I paid an extra $30 to get them early. I can live with that. It's hardly the fact that i got ripped off or something.
There was nothing necessary about this purchase at all. It was purely something I wanted. You're supposed to say, "awesome! let us know how they are!", not "you dumb$%@#, you could have saved $30!"
