I remember when Aluminum bike first hit the market, such as Cannondale, they were so expensive back then. Now you can find Aluminum bike in the $300 range.
I just saw a Trek 5000 with full tiagra (why why why) for $700 in the bikeshop last night. I didn't look to closely so i don't know what the deal was...
