Hello,

I recently bought a 63cm 1998 litespeed frame from ebay. Then bought an ultegra/Dura-ace group also from ebay. I'm having trouble with the build. When I put the bike in the 2 largest gears so the chain is at it's steepest angle and backpedal the chain sometimes starts to walk down the cassette and jams up, or it falls off the crank sprocket. The chain was a little loose and actually rubbed on the rear der when in smallest gears so I removed 2 links but that didn't seem to help any. Everything seems to work perfect when pedaling forward and in other gears backpedaling. I haven't had a chance to actually road test as I'm on a ship at the moment, I actually might not get to ride it for a couple more weeks. The bottom bracket is flush against the frame, and I think the crank is on right, but the geometry seems to be off. I could always set the rear der stop screw at gear 8. I'm not that concerned as this isn't a gear combination that I use much of anyways but it would be better to get it right. I've but together a couple of bikes and never had this problem These are component list taken straight from the ebay auction. I should probably double check all the #'s myself. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
