S-6 is not a size, it's a rim cross-sectional shape used by Schwinn in many different wheel sizes.

K2 rings a bell, I believe that's an obscure British designation for the ISO 630 mm rim size, more commonly known as "27 inch."

All 27 inch tires/rims have the same 630 mm ISO size, and are basically interchangeable.

The "S-6" designation is only relevant for 26, 24, 20 inch sizes, where it indicates an oddball Schwinn variant size.

However this is NOT an issue in the "27 inch" size, because Schwinn always used the normal 630 mm dimesnsion for that.

Anyway, if the rim and tire both have "27" marked on them anywhere, they're compatible.
