This is the best advice yet.
32 miles is a lot of miles. I don't know if it is too much for a woman physically, but it might be too much for your partner - period. I mean, some of us are type A people. We just push too much. What is reasonable for a Type A is torture and extreme for most people. Type A are the type of people who think they are being kind by going slower and pushing their colleagues even farther. They look behind themselves at their panting colleagues and shout, "Just 13 more miles and we are half-way to mid-point already!"
The point is that your wife might be physically able, but is she really into it? Maybe she is - and if so, never EVER miss a birthday or anniversary or any chance to tell her that you love her because she is a keeper.
I often put on about 10,000 miles a year on a bicycle and the daily commute with errands is around 35 miles. That is a lot. It doesn't seem like a lot to me, but I know that I am overboard by most measuring sticks. So, 32 miles per day, every day plus having a non-cycling life would be unique.
I compliment you and your mate.
