I ride 20-24mph along the flats solo, 22-27mph when im in a paceline @ roughly 90rpm in both situations. I don't find myself in the teens very often unless i have a headwind, or am feeling particularly wussy that day. I'm not concerned i need more gear for climbing since ill get that already with a 39....but i do want to remain in the middle of the cassette when im riding the 53.

Is this a pipe dream with a 53/39, or am i going to be way too high on the 12-25 cassette and bordering on cross chaining?
