43cm and 45cm NEED to have 650c wheels, horizontal top tubes and short head tubes. Without smaller wheels they will fit like crap..just like the small Surly sizes. I was thinking about getting my gf the 43 cm motobecane, but the quote above scares me a bit. Bikesdirect, is there any chance that you could post a photo or two of the 43cm with an appropriately sized rider just so that we have a better idea of the proportions?
