I just found what I believe is a 1986 Allez at a local bike store for $175. I'm in Canada, so good old steel bikes like this are pretty rare, and that's a decent price.
Unfortunately, it doesn't look like one of the Neenan-designed 3Renshos: it's blue, has a mixture of old Shimano 600 SIS and newer componentry, but still has the old-style "Special Series Racing Tubing" decals, like on my '84 Sequoia. I've attached an old catalog page I found on the MiyataSpecTour Yahoo group (group devoted to old Miyata and Specialized touring bikes, with lots of good catalog info.)
[EDIT: In case the attachment doesn't work, the catalog page is here:

Also unfortunately, it's a 56 or 58, and I take a 62, so I have no idea what I'd do with it, but it does seem like a deal.
Anyway, my questions are these: does anyone have the geometry specs for the old Allez? And aside from the 3Rensho frames, what are the differences between the Tim Neenan-branded Allezs and the Jim Merz versions? Thanks for any help!
