Here's a tip, so don't tell anyone. It's like the naked hot tub barbeques that bike shop employees have on the margins they make on sales...

Some people come to a bike shop having ridden a bike that did not fit. They have not ever had a bike that was the right size, or fitted out with correct seat height and position, handlebar width, position of the brifters, stem length, etc. Once this process has been completed, it feels different, or as many cumstomers will tell you "different=uncomfortable" Ride it for 50 miles or so. Any issues, come back to us.

Once they have gotten rid of the old muscle memory, they transition into the new position and are remarkably comfortable. No back pain, numb hands/crotch, etc.

Then they send us 10 more customers....
