What about those people who say, "I'm anxious to get started.", when they mean, "I'm eager to get started."?

The more I think about this, the more I think that there are times when I don't especially want to see "proper" English in use. For example, when my son is sending me a text message at "X" dollars per hour. It is OK with me if he writes: R U thr yet? instead of: Have you reached your destination?
