Buy 2 new bikes. trade the old Bianchi in,
get yourself something nice (you deserve it) and
sleek and roadie, and get him something similiar
(albeit at a more entry level)
bingo, both Husband and Wife happy.
Then when he gets bitten (and he will I'm betting) you
can both go to the LBS and buy more stuff.
As my wife has been known to browse these forums
I have to say that any purchases are HER idea, and
a damned good one too!
