I have one of those mysterious early 80’s Super Le Tours with what I believe to be a full 4130 frame (25.4 seat post) I am now ready to upgrade most of the components from the original Shimano Altus. I am also looking for a 70's era Paramount frame and would like to be able to use the same parts on both bikes. Is it possible to move parts from my SLT 4130 frame to the 531 Paramount when I eventually find one? Will any set of derailers and brakes fit either frame or are there certain ones to look for?
