That's a good question. I might quiz them about the future possibilities but without the expectation that they might be early-adopters. Transition has a very grassroots style with a "by riders, for riders" mission emphasis. They work hard to position themselves at the affordable end of the 'boutique' maker spectrum in order to get as many people riding their product as they can. I don't see jumping into the gearbox fray - - and its attendant costs - - being something they may actively pursue until things have shaken out a bit more.

But I could be wrong (something I have a gift for) and they could surprise me.
