I give my vote to SKS. They look more traditional and I like their mounting system better. I had a set of Planet Bike Freddy Fenders on my Surly Pacer. They fit fine when I was running 700x25 tires, but when I switched to 28s I had a rub on the rear that I couldn't get rid of . The problem is the way the rear fender mounts. SKS fenders have a thin metal L-shaped bracked that is attached to the rear fender and attaches to the brake bridge. PB fenders use a separate plastic bracket that bolts to the rear brake bridge, and the fender fits to that. The plastic bracket is too thick for my situation. I could have zip tied it, I suppose, but SKS fenders worked better for me. I don't think anybody running discs or cantis would have this problem. I just had limited clearance on my bike with my brakes. But SKS worked.
