I would avoid PCH at all costs. Some people like it, but I can't stand it. Pick any of the canyon roads that lead up into the Santa Monica Mts and enjoy the amazing ocean views from there. Best riding there is. Check out Magicant's "Mulholland Ride" thread for possible variations.
