Dont know if this means anything but I was riding down Sheridan with some bike cops a few weeks ago, the cop complimented me about my bike (Bianchi Pista), he said "Nice bike," then commented to the other officer saying and I quote once again "a fixed gear is its own brake" then he looked at me and said "**** brakes, geared bikes with brakes are for *******." Dont really know what that means, but I thought it was amusing.
