At the end of last season I had to make one of those phone calls. It's a horrible thing. Just horrible.

We race on Tuesday nights all summer long. It's something we've done for years. Highly regarded in the region. A normal night in every respect.

It's impossible to express in a way that conveys the depth of meaning. You never know, you just never know.

I search the cell phone contacts and start calling people. If I remember correctly, it was "Home" that I called.

If someone is going through your contacts on your cell phone it means you can't speak for whatever reason. Please make it easy on this person. This stranger is in a VERY difficult situation. He's about to call a stranger and say "you don't know me but there's been an accident"

Please put an ICE contact or a Mom or Home or Dad. Something/Anything.

Do it then hope no one ever needs to use it.
