666 pack,
As long as one can realize their myopia, that is all another forum member can ask of you
I'm a few hours north of you up here in NYS and it was pretty cold today. But, that wasn't the worst part. What was truly awful was that after a few weeks of putting my nicer bicycles through the sand and salt on the roads I couldn't bring myself to subject them to that treatment. I rode my true beater bike (an old mountain bike with enormous studded tires and a bottom bracket that swings side to side like a metronome) and rolling along at around 8 mph and not being on one of the bikes I love was the worst part.
But, I'm doing it on purpose to push me to get my halfway decent winter bike built up.
And beware the black ice! A cold ride gets that much worse when you go down, rip some clothes, bloody some skin, and then have to start from a dead stop on a hill.
