The sound is virtually useless when riding. It'll pick up your vioce if you carry it. On a sunny day it's awesome. I've made better frame mounts with cheap stuff from Home depot, so I can get right down low off the fork. Do you sell the bike version with the elbow mounts? I love mine and have made several gigs of video. You hardly notice it when using it on your helmet, though the low bike position gives a better sensation of speed. The high energy AAA requirements make at least 2 pairs of rechargeables a must, and a couple 2G SD cards if your to be out for a while. Lower light recordings bite it large, but dusk isn't too too bad. I'm going to try and adjust the darker ones in some video editting wares to see if I can make them better. I'm still al little bummed I haven't had a good traffic rip since I got it. Water and shockproof...right up my alley of clumsiness. All said, I love it. I wish I had 6 of them for all angle recording. A film maker friend of mine has snatched up a few days of recording for something he's working on.
