I hate to rain on the parade, but you guys are all terrible.

Don't listen to them, they are only playing around with you. If you are willing to spend around $300, you are in luck. Anything less than that is pretty much garbage. I'd recommend a Kink Roc from www.danscomp.com right now. They are on sale and are great bikes.
