I only trained on them for about 40 hours so far. However, in the same time, in the same environment, on ProRace2s, I had at least 4 or 5 flats and cut 4 tires badly enough that they are now reserved for pictures or the trainer. All flats were caused by glass or other puncturing debris.

I got the Krylions because one of my training friends with the tires rode on the glass side of me while I got the 2nd through whatever flat. I was still flatting and he never did.

This year I returned to the same environment and trained a LOT. I rode on the glass side when riding with others, ran through countless patches of glass, and I have a tiny nick or two in the rear tire and none on the front.

The tires have been incredible for traction too, but I haven't ridden them in the rain.

I spent many of those almost-40 hours wondering how Michelin did it. It's like the tire has an outer layer of cut proof rubber.

In addition to the almost-40 hours outside, I have about 40+ hours on a trainer. The rear tire still had its center flashing when I took the bike outside. Now the rear has a slight flat spot in it.

big fan of the Krylions,
cdr
