They do blow, but it is mostly an aethestic thing ( or however you spell it).
Then I don't understand why they don't go with the Cane Creek Zero-Stack model, which does away with the technical problems of integrated headsets while keeping the appearance the same.

They're also vastly superior technology. They make the old threaded system look like a Rube Goldberg contraption, by comparison. In this case, what benefits manufacturers also benefits consumers.
