Well, our average individual annual health insurance premium exceeds $4,200. Considering I pay 6% sales tax on everything except
certain food and didn't buy anywhere near $40k worth of stuff last year, I'm pretty sure you'd be ahead even if every single drop of that extra tax went into health care.
