I guess Cream of the Crop probably means different things to everyone

Admittedly, most of my dreams are pretty basic stuff, appropriate technology and realistic aim and all.
And my list tends to fluctuate around. But after a year and a half of flea markets, thrift stores, e-bay, and best of all, trading with forum members, I’m pretty close.
(Yes, I am obsessive compulsive, and really unfocused.... )

Bikes I have checked off the list.

Raleigh Super Course…. Check, though I’d like to find an older one to go with my ‘80
Raleigh Grand Prix. Triple check. One is even a Carlton.
Peugeot UO-8 Early 70’s Check.
Peugeot UE-8 Check, but it has to go, I need one that’s closer to 57-59cm, and it’s a 53..
Mid 80’s Peugeot. Check. I have a PH10L waiting a repaint and a PSV10 project. But…see list below.
Vitus 172 framed Motobecane. Check.
Basic, 70’s Italian 10-speed. One Bottecchia, check.
Dawes Galaxy. Check!
Lugged Trek, ’83 520 check..
Other cool-strange –interesting stuff, Batauvs Tour le’Europe, BSA (Raleigh) a Simplon City bike. A Hercules three speed, a Ted Williams Styer and a couple Columbias.

The dream list, though I don’t really need any of them, I expect I will probably find most of them in time.

A early 70’s Falcon. Preferably a Merckx Falcon in Moltini orange but it’s not necessary.
A late 70’s low to mid level Gitane so I can complete the Peugeot-Motobecane-Gitane big three of everyday French bikes.
A battered warhorse of a PX-10 or close equivalent, probably a bring it back from the dead sort of project.
A late 80’s Peugeot Tourmalet (PH10LE) In full on 80’s neon paint and disco stripes. I hope to find one I don’t have to completely rebuild like my ’84 PH10L
Atala 70’s or 80’s Just because you don’t see them all that often. Or Maybe something made by Gazelle.
A mid 80's Cannondale, Because one Aluminum bike should be on the list somewhere.

And, if I ever run across one at a flea. A RED 80's Steel Specialized Allez. Like Kostner rode in American flyers!

I love these threads.....
