I would have to lean toward no to Ninja, since part of the Ninja mystique is to not be seen... The opposite of good cycling practice.

A ride based on local industry or history would be interesting.

For examples in my area a ride could visit one theme, or a sampling, coal mines and breakers, breweries, Planters Peanuts, the first cable company, historic battle sites... Promote civic pride and cycling.
