I ride MKS AR2s (double straps) and some cheap Wellgos (single strap). The MKS have a bit more traction than the Wellgos but overall I can slip my foot out too easy, unless I crank the straps. I ride mostly in Chucks and sometimes flat shoes.

I'm up for trying pinned BMX pedals.
