Colder at night?

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that I can wear much less clothing for a certain temperature during the day than at night. During the day I'm comfortable in a tee shirt down to about 50 degrees F. In a flannel shirt I can get down to the high 30's. But at night, I'm freezing in the same clothes at the same temps.

I'm guessing that it is the sun shining on me in the day. Does anyone else have a similar experience?
