kinda of in a quandary now, torn between road handlebars and flat/riser bars. road: more hand positions for commute cons: expensive brifters, the use of cumbersome cantis | flat/risers: multitude of MTB parts can be used, V-brakes cons: might be uncomfortable for long distance commuting >60k round trip...
since I'm on a budget, mtb parts seem to lead the way....
