OK, yet ANOTHER question, sorry everyone.

Ok, So, I'm tired of loading my bike into the back of my 2003 ford expedition and having to fold down all the seats and not be able to haul anything/anybody else.
I'm trying to find a decent Hitch Rack, but yet again, I don't know what to look for.
I'm also having a rough time convinceing my mom to get one, because she doesn't trust the hitch mounted anythings. The cargo carriers or the bike racks, she hates them all!
ARGH!

I can already guess I'm not supposed to trust the 50 dollar bike racks.
Whats The best type holding method, best companies, something that's not going to drop my bike.
being able to carry 1-3 bikes is a plus.
