What kind of worthless hardware stores are you guys going to? It really isn't hard at all to sell some dude an o-ring and send them on their way.
If you have an I.D. and an O.D. you should be in and out of the store in 3 minutes, counting the wait in line. It's not like there's any sort of amazing rocket science going on in the o-ring industry.
I took the pump with me, the one time I tried to repair it. Just the luck of the draw. Guess, the did not have the right size. I should try again.
