haha, it's vocational and that is usually in reference to an industrial arts class i. e. shop or auto class, so try to check that out. Maybe your counselor doesn't know their ass from a tea-kettle and you can substitute welding for painting. That sort of skill would definitely give you a leg up in the military. Of course if you are decent enough at test taking you can get a 99 on the ASVAB and "have any choice of job you want" quoting the snake of a Marine recruiter I spoke with in high school.
