Actually I havent decided if I'm going to bother going with indexed stuff or not.

I'm thinking Shimano 600 and I'll just use a set of suntour bar end shifters I have laying around.

However, can someone tell me what a good component group made by Campy would be for a late 80's, early 90's bike? In a way I'd kinda like to keep most of the parts italian, but not if the quality isnt going to be as good as the Shimano stuff.

What is the hierarchy of the Campy Component groups?

I found this for Shimano:

Dura-Ace (top of the line, 10-speed)
Ultegra (9-speed through 2004, 10-speed in 2005)
105 (9-speed)
Tiagra (9-speed)
Sora (bottom of the line, 8-speed)

Looking for something similiar for Campy...
