I haven't tried that exact fork but so long as you have 700C wheels it should work just fine. I certainly looks period correct for an older bike. I've been looking for something similar in a 27" fork. Most 700C forks won't work with a 27" wheel and standard caliper, and fenders are definitely out of the picture.

It would be interesting to see what the blade length is on those forks and to know who is actually making those. $60 is way high for a generic fork. Most bike shops can order a chrome replacement fork from any of several suppliers for about $15. But it won't have the fancy semi sloping crown like that one does. They make either a U shaped fork with no crown at all, or a stamped or pressed crown replacement fork.
