Ok, i used the search function to try to get answers to my spoke and nipple questions. This 2 year old thread popped up. So... Can somebody please help me.

Is this true? Universal sell nipples that are 16mm for deepv.

www.wheelbuilder.com. This is a great site and Richard does all kinds of custom stuff for the track community such as Powertap track conversions, custom stems for Look 496 track frames, and the like. He's a great guy and deserves your business. If I were building up some carbon track rims, I'd certainly look at CX-Rays, but for any routine fixie use, they're way overkill unless you find success attracting dates with especially bling wheels.
Has anyone used CX-Rays with regular Phil hubs and Deep Vs? My wheelbuilder said there may be an issue because they are too wide (2.3mm) in the middle to thread through the rim. Is he correct? I really love those spokes and want to use them with my new Phil hubs. Also, my hubs are not sloted for bladed spokes - cxRays dont need slotted anyways right? Can I use these spokes?
