well this sucks :(

no one really uses the shower room or the lockers around the time i come into work, so i'd been bringing my bike into the locker room for added security for about 1.5 months maybe 2 now. in the last 6-8 business weeks, i've seen maybe 5 people total so that's less than 1 person a week in there.

anyhow, the grounds supervisor came in, saw my bike and got pissed off, telling me the rules said no bikes are allowed inside the building. i asked for a copy of a list of rules from him and he started yelling at me. i tried to explain to him i didn't trust the bike racks outside because a) they can be picked up and moved around, b) my older cheap mtn bike was stolen from there with bolt cutters about a year ago and c) the way that rack's designed, a u-lock, even a small one, won't fit in there at all. i guess he wouldn't have any of it. if it was damage caused by the bike(??) i would have to say my cleats probably cause more damage than the bike on the tile

oh well...i put a request in for a better bike rack, but i doubt they'll do anything about that. atleast i still have a shower/sauna/jacuzzi and a bike friendly company that allows me to store the bike inside my cubicle/office (it's not exactly a cubicle...and it's not exactly an office) after i take a shower and get dressed.
