Bikes: Peugeot Hybrid, Minelli Hybrid

When a see a cyclist ahead of me, I always try to pass them, but I am passed a lot more often than I was 25 yrs ago. When you pass them what friendly greeting can you give without appearing to be a smug ****hole (which I am)?
