Probably not.

I've ordered many outboard bottom brackets, especially Shimano, that were out of stock. The vendor substituted another, guaranteeing it'd be compatible...and it wasn't. Your best bet is to match the BB to the crank manufacturer and be sure that the part numbers match according to their specs.

It also may be a good idea to ask what specific crank you are thinking of using that BB with instead of the shotgun approach. I can't think of anyone who'd want to research every crankset out there.
