My favorite ride is when I get off work and ride across town to an evening class I teach.

I go through the campus of my alma mater and through neighborhoods where friends used to live. It brings back a lot of good memories. I pass by the houses where my friends used to live and where some of their parents still live.

By the time the class is over and I ride home in the dark past the houses. I remember kissing my girlfriends goodnight as a youngster under the porchlights and the girl's parents peeking through the shutters (and eventually tapping on the glass saying it was time to say "goodnight").

I have biked in many foreign countries and had many great adventures, but "Country Road, Take Me Home To the Place I Belong..." Ya man.
