Switching from Compact to Standard crank

I've been riding for almost a year now on my Orca w/ SRAM Force compact set w/ 11-26 in the rear cassette. I weigh 145lbs and like to climb. While having a 34 is great on a 12% + climb, I'm tired of spinning out on the decents. Also, I rode a relatively flat century 2 weeks ago and I think I did it all in the big chain ring.

So this got me thinking- is it time to change to a standard crank? I know it's difficult to say- it all depends on the rider. Any opinions much appreciated!
